About CFUW Abbotsford

Founded in 1953, CFUW Abbotsford is part of a national network of women committed to education, equality, and advocacy. We bring together women of all backgrounds to support one another and build a better future for all.

Purpose, Connection, Action

We believe in the power of women supporting women. At CFUW Abbotsford, we provide opportunities for friendship, growth, and advocacy through monthly meetings, social groups, and community initiatives. Whether you’re joining a book club, working on a scholarship committee, or writing letters to local representatives, you’ll be part of something meaningful — a space where women connect, lead, and make change.

Why Join Us?

CFUW Abbotsford is more than a club — it’s a community of women supporting one another through learning, advocacy, and shared purpose. Whether you’re looking to get involved in education initiatives, meet new people, or simply find a meaningful way to give back, there’s a place for you here.

What We Do

Education & Scholarships

We support women pursuing higher education by offering annual scholarships and bursaries through our Education Trust and Endowment Fund.

Advocacy & Impact

We engage in meaningful advocacy at the local, provincial, and national levels. We write to elected officials, contribute to policy resolutions, and support local organizations that serve women in need.

Community & Connection

From book clubs and social outings to community service, we offer members countless ways to build friendships and make a difference in Abbotsford and beyond.
